Looking for a hassle-free venue for a birthday party or anniversary celebration?
Well with Fairfield Community Hall you don’t have to search far. Located at the heart of Fairfield, we’re within easy walking distance for local residents – so you can leave the car and forget about taxi fares.
Another bonus is that we’re big on space. Our two large main halls have sliding walls that open up into a connecting room in the middle – giving you enough space to accommodate up to 160 guests for a sit-down meal or 200 if your party is all about the dancing. For smaller celebrations, you can hire just one hall and you also have the option of including the middle room – which is a handy little addition for serving the buffet or using as a separate seating area.
Catering is easily taken care of thanks to our decent-sized kitchen with oven and microwaves. Most of our hirers are too busy partying to cook, so they either bring in heated trolleys for food they’ve made earlier or hire caterers, who use the facilities to create their final flourishes.
We have an equally no-fuss approach to music and entertainment – offering a DIY option that leaves all the arrangements in your hands. So from magicians to mobile discos, you’re free to choose your own suppliers and set everything up just as you like. As for balloons, bunting and banners, you can decorate the hall however you like (sorry, we have a no sellotape and no drawing pins policy – you have to use white tac only, and no hammer and nails.)
Our hall is available for adult parties on Saturday nights, and occasional Friday and Sunday nights during school holidays.
Due to the residential location of the hall we require all music to be switched off at 11pm latest.
